I, for one, am glad that Rich is dead. He was a great (and often not-so-great) Nova for his run, but he had a good heroic death, and passing the mantle to other Novas helps to enrich and deepen the development of the Marvel universe. If people don’t die/leave/end and the world doesn’t move on, then the universe gets stuck in a stagnating pit of nonmovement and boringness.
A moving universe is a good universe.
